Vanilla Pear Trim Shake Smoothie (Sugar Free)

This recipe is adapted from my Gluten Free Pantry website. The addition of the Trim Shake protein powder to the recipe makes the smoothie taste divine!
My daughter adores pears. They are her favorite fruits hands down. My son…he can eat strawberries like craaazy.

I created this smoothie to please my pear loving daughter and to make sure everyone in the family gets a good dose of protein and fiber in a smoothie. It’s been hot here and that usually means lots of homemade ice cream, salads and smoothies. I try to pack as much of a nutritional punch in all of those categories as possible! This smoothie is satisfying, fulfilling and darn good for you. Enjoy Friends!

Ingredients:
  • 1 cup unsweetened or homemade almond milk
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 pear, washed and cored
  • 1 scoop of  Vanilla Trim Shake Protein Powder
  • 2 tsp. white chia seeds
  • ⅛ tsp. pure vanilla extract
Instructions:
  1. Place all ingredients into a Vitamix or blender and blend on high for 1 minute. Serve over ice and enjoy!
