Sweet Dreams Bedtime Spray

My daughter loves to make homemade recipes with me, but she also adores helping me make fun and wonderful smelling oil blends. Today we made a natural spray she can spray on her and her little brother's bed and sheets before bed.

Lavender and Wild Orange Essential Oils are well known for helping to calm the body and promoting restful sleep. Wild Orange can help with "sweet dreams" as it can help one stay asleep. Lavender is fabulous for helping one to be less stressed and fall asleep.

I also like to mix a few drops of lavender and wild orange essential oil with fractionated coconut oil on my kids' feet prior to bed. Other nights I diffuse the oils in an essential oil diffuser. My kids love it and I love a good night sleep!

5 drops Lavender
5 drops Wild Orange Essential Oil
3 drops Roman Chamomile Essential Oil (optional)
4 ounces water

Mix ingredients in a small spray container. Use this to spray the air, bed, pillow, sheets, windows, favorite stuffed animal...whatever your child (or you!) likes to sleep with!

  3. Can you use regular orange essential oil in place of the wild orange?
