The Bites and Stings of Summer: doTerra Essential Oils To The Rescue!

THE BITES AND STINGS OF SUMMER:
Essential Oils TO THE RESCUE!

Summertime is grand, isn’t it? Warm sun, cool evening breezes, flowers a-blooming and---skeeters a-stinging! Ouch, where did that little guy come from! Well, if you steer clear of standing water and keep those empty flower pots drained, you’ll have less chance of encountering a mosquito And use therapeutic grade essential oils for soothing any kind of...

INSECT BITE:

Add 5 drops ROMAN CHAMOMILE ESSENTIAL OIL and 5 drops LAVENDER to a small bowl of cold water. Soak a cloth in it and then hold it against the bite for one minute.

For BEE STINGS:

Try the same recipe with LEMON, LEMONGRASS, MELALEUCA, PEPPERMINT OR LAVENDER.

TIP: If the stinger remains in the skin, try rubbing one drop of CLOVE essential oil around the area for a numbing effect.

For SPIDER BITES:

Try LAVENDER, LEMON, LEMONGRASS, MELALEUCA, PEPPERMINT OR ROMAN CHAMOMILE.

And for SNAKE BITES (and let’s hope you never have to use this):

Try MELALEUCA. While most snake bites are innocuous, it’s a good idea to head to the emergency room immediately if you don’t’ know or have any doubts whatsoever.

Essential oils are naturals for summer stings and bites. Keep them handy!
