doTerra Wild Orange Essential Oil Recipes

I love cooking and baking with Wild Orange Essential Oil!

Wild Orange Essential Oil is one of the most popular essential oils due to its wonderful citrusy aroma and its ability to improve mood. It is cold pressed from the orange peel.

I diffuse it in my essential oil diffuser to make my house smell wonderful and purify the air and my kids drink it in their water daily.

My favorite way to use Wild Orange is to add it to my recipes and beverages. It is great as a natural flavoring. Wild orange can be substituted in any recipe that calls for orange juice or orange extract. Simply substitute one drop of wild orange essential oil for one teaspoon orange extract or orange juice. Please make sure you are only using the highest quality, therapeutic grade essential oil marked for dietary use if using a small amount internally.

Essential oils are fat-free and sugar-free. Wild Orange can be added as a flavoring to dessert recipes such as brownies, chocolate, frosting and ice cream, smoothies, sauces, salad dressings, poultry.

Here are a few of my favorite recipes using Wild Orange Essential Oil:

Wild Orange Chocolate Balls

Wild Orange Cacao Chia Pudding
Moroccan Avocado Wild Orange Smoothie
Homemade Wild Orange Vinaigrette
Orange-a-licious Smoothie!
Healthy Chocolate Peppermint Candy*

*I now make this with 3 drops of Wild Orange essential oil or peppermint-depending on what sounds good that day!

  1. Thanks for sharing this on Waste Not Want Not Wednesday, I didn't know you could use essential oils in baking, so that's a great tip :) I've pinned this.

  2. I made fudge (cacao powder, coconut oil, honey, vanilla) yesterday with the wild orange. So good!
