Homemade Bug Spray with Essential Oils

Got a bug problem? Essential oils to the rescue for a natural and effective solution!

My favorite essential oil blend for bugs is Repellent Blend. You can apply the oil blend topically to the areas on your body you want to protect. You can also make an all natural bug spray by diluting the Repellent Blend with coconut oil or water in a spray bottle. If you use water, shake well before using. I would probably put 20-30 drops as I am an ultimate mosquito magnet, but some people may only need 8-10 drops to ward off pesky mosquitoes. The Repellent blend is a very affordable alternative to toxic store bought bug sprays. It is $9.50 wholesale price for a 15ml bottle and a little bit goes a long way.

Already been bit? Try using Melaleuca, Lavender and/or Cleansing Blend essential oils to clear up those bites. I make a blend of Melaleuca and Cleansing Blend. Put 30 drops Melaleuca and 10 drops Cleansing Blend in a 5ml bottle and then fill the remainder of the bottle with fractionated coconut oil.
