Minty-Fresh Fabric Softener & Odor Remover!
There is no need for a chemical-laden fabric softener in our house. This homemade version is made with only 2 ingredients and super inexpensive.
Vinegar is not only nontoxic, but is great at removing soap residue during the rinse cycle and reduces static cling in the dryer. Peppermint essential oil is great at removing stubborn odors from clothing--perfect for all the outdoor play kids get this time of year!
Ingredients:
1 gallon vinegar
20 drops peppermint essential oil
Combine the ingredients in a large container. Add 1 cup to the rinse cycle for each load.

I have fresh mint growing in my garden . Can you tell ne the way to use it instead of the drops? Thanks
ReplyDeleteI'm not sure exactly, but you would want to try crushing the mint finely first as you don't want small particles in the laundry :)
