Homemade Hand Sanitizer Spray

I love this homemade, nontoxic hand sanitizer! It is made with essential oils, free of alcohol and inexpensive as a little bit goes a long way. Since I make the recipe into a spray, it is convenient, non messy and I can use it anywhere. This hand sanitizer contains On Guard essential oil blend which kills bacteria and viruses and will help build your family's immune system.

Traditional store bought hand sanitizers can make you resistant to bacteria resulting in the possibility of antibiotic resistance. Furthermore, they can contain chemicals that can be harsh and drying on the hands due to their high alcohol contents.

Lemon essential oil is also added to this recipe for its disinfecting and antibacterial properties. The smell is uplifting and refreshing!  The fractionated coconut oil and aloe vera gel help nourish your hands and keep them moisturized for hours.

Ingredients:
25 drops On Guard Essential Oil Blend
10 drops Lemon Essential Oil Blend
1 tsp. Fractionated Coconut Oil
2 tsp. Aloe Vera Gel
Water
15 ml  glass Spray Bottle

Directions:
Fill the spray bottle half full with water. Add in the essential oils, aloe vera and coconut oil. Add more water to the bottle until it is full. Insert lid and shake well.

Spray on your hands and rub them together. Safe to use for kids and adults!

  5. This would work well for door handles and such, right? We head out on a cruise next week and I want to bring a spray along cover our sleeping area in when we arrive! I have my diffuser as well but hoping to spray down immediately upon arrival to our stateroom.

  6. This can't be right... 1 Tbsp of FCO nearly fills a 15mL bottle without any water added at all...
